Itinerary
We will leave Valencia at 09.00 and will drive to the province Alicante. After our arrival in Calpe we will drink a coffee on a terrace before our start to walk one of the most famous mountains of the region.
Together we will hike a beautiful trail on the famous Penon the Ifach in Calpe. Green nature, a lot of birds and stunning views on the top.
The first part of the trail is of easy technical level. After a few hundred meters the trail becomes a bit more difficult and exciting. Sometimes we have to use ropes and chains to find our way up. The views along the route are amazing… this rock is a must do during your holidays.
At the top (332 m.) we will have wide views over the skylines of Calpe, Benidorm and the village Altea. The view from above is magical… no wonder why even some cats live on the top of this mountain!
Enjoying the beautiful views we will eat our lunch and take some rest. After the break we start our way down. A well deserved dip in the fresh waters is of course an added bonus. We will drive to the pittoresque village of Altea: swim in turquoise waters, stroll through the small streets. Followed by a fresh beer or wine with some tapas…
