Granada sits around 2,260 feet (690 meters) above sea level, which makes for cool nights and surprisingly chilly winters. Both domestic and international travelers flock to the Alhambra during the warmer months (roughly April through October); visiting midweek in April or May is your best chance for a less crowded experience.
