Canarian Animal Farm Car Tour. Goat Cheese and Local Wine.

For Cruise Ship Passengers! If you are arriving by a cruise ship and only stay for a day, don’t worry! You will have enough time to enjoy your tour and get back in time.
This is definitely an event for farm animal lovers but also for Canarian cheese and wine fans. Also you will have the chance to visit a Water Gallery, an Aboriginal Pottery Workshop and an Aloe Vera Farm. You will hug the baby goats and than see the Canarian black pigs, cows, chickens and dogs. Of course, you will have the opportunity to taste goat cheese, Canarian wine and other local specialties.

You will witness the goats milking and making of the cheese and than you will visit a Water Gallery up in the nearby mountains.

Aboriginal Pottery Workshop. You will visit a unique canarian artisan that preserves the aboriginal techniques, creating both aboriginal idols and ceramics as well as her own works in aboriginal style.

Than comes the Canarian lunch and after we will visit a beautiful Aloe Vera Farm.

For Cruise Ship Passengers the pickup point is THE CITY CENTER – Plaza de España, within walking distance of the Cruise Ship Terminal. There is also a Free Shuttle Bus from the dock to the Terminal. How about participating in the morning milking of the beautiful canarian goats and than having a tasty Canarian snack with fresh local products? Goat cheese and local canarian wine or juice are included in the price of the tour. And I have more pleasant surprises waiting for you. You can hug baby goats and meet Canarian black pigs, chicken, cows and dogs. You will also see the whole process of making cheese and have a walk around the farm, have a chat with people and interact with the friendly animals.

Aboriginal Pottery Workshop.
You will visit a unique canarian artisan and artist defender of pottery and pottery aboriginal techniques.
The traditional pottery workshop is located less than one kilometer from a famous gorge where more than 1000 Aboriginal Mummies were found in 1764. Also in the same ravine the Aboriginal clay idol called Guatimac was found by a local shepard.
The canarian artist preserves traditional guanche techniques, creating both aboriginal idols and traditional ceramics as well as her own works in aboriginal style. IMPORTANT! To visit the traditional pottery workshop, a prior appointment is required. It is possible that the artisan will not be available on the day of the trip, especially if the reservation was made shortly before the start of the tour. However, the organizers will do their best to offer you this great experience.

OPTIONAL! Lunch at the restaurant is not included in the price of the whole experience.There are a few good restaurants in the area and we can choose a Canarian one. You can enjoy traditional aboriginal dishes and delicious chicken, pork, beef, rabbit or fish but also pasta and vegan food. Great wines are waiting for you too.

ALOE VERA FARM AND TROPICAL GARDEN. Here tropical trees, aromatic and medicinal plants grow together with several kinds of ALOE VERA from different parts of the world. You will participate in a practical demonstration of the qualities of this miraculous plant. You will be able to taste an aloe vera leaf that will be cut right in front of you. Our very friendly hosts will explain in detail what are the properties of the products obtained from pure aloe vera gel. We will also visit the farm store where, if you want, you can buy products made from pure aloe vera juice and gel.
You will be able to walk through this beautiful plantation with an area of ​​11,000 square meters and over 3,000 Aloe Vera plants that grow organically. This location offers spectacular views, harmoniously combining the green of the nearby mountains with the blue of the Atlantic Ocean.
After a whole day of wonderful experiences, it’s time to drive to the hotel delighted by such a successful private trip.

Water Gallery and Recreational Area in the Mountains.
Now is time to say goodbye to our lovely Canarian hosts and drive up to the mountains. Amazing views over the mountains, the ocean and the nearby beaches are waiting for us up there! You will be suprised by the canals that bring the pure water from a Gallery with a total length of over 4000 m. You can also see the circular areas where grain was traditionally threshed. Around a very little chapel there is a recreational area, with barbecues and several tables under the shade of the pines.
