The calçots are a seasonal winter vegetable, which is cooked directly over the flame of the fire and eaten standing outside, with the typical romesco sauce (sauce made with nuts, olive oil, toasted bread, vinegar, ñoras,…) It is a fun time to be with family, friends, it is a time of meeting and fun. The calçot is typical of the Tarragona area and is grown from January to March.

We will cook the calçots (onion and celery mixture) with vine shoots that we will cut at the moment. Meanwhile, we will prepare the typical romesco sauce to eat with the calçots. Anyone who wants can participate in the elaboration. Once the calçots are cooked, they will put on the bib and we will teach how to eat them.
Once the calçots are finished, we will go to the dining room where we will continue with the meat and finish with desserts.

• Grilled meat – Brazier with lamb meat, sausage and artichokes and casserole with white beans, black sausage and potato
