Sevilla Trip Overview

Little Rome was the first Roman city built outside of Italy in 206 BC. C. by General Publio Cornelio Escipión, the African. City that saw the birth of two Roman emperors, Trajan and Hadrian, where luxury and “simulacra romae” were enjoyed. We will walk its ancient streets by the hand of our guide who will help us interpret and know the whole enclave. We will also discover amazing mosaics, the Traianeum, the old major hot springs and its famous amphitheater. It is the third largest in the world, where the famous gladiatorial fights took place and has been the scene of the popular Game of Thrones series. Its Roman theater, discovered in the middle of the twentieth century, is undoubtedly one of the best preserved in Europe, in which works are still represented.
After the visit of this enclave we will march to the monastery of San Isidoro del Campo, a medieval fortress We will finish in a traditional cellar, where we will enjoy a tasting.
