Itinerary
Day 1: Start from Sarria
Stop At: Oficina Municipal de Turismo de Sarria, Avda da Mercede, 8, 27600 Sarria Spain
Arrival in Sarria and start of the last 100 km of the French Way.

Day 2: Sarria – Portomarín (22 km)
Stop At: San Nicolas de Portomarin, Plaza Conde Fenosa, Portomarin Spain
In this section, you can enjoy small rural villages, chapels of Romanesque style, in addition to a quiet and peaceful path.
At the end of the route you will reach Portomarín.

Day 3: Portomarín – Palas de Rei (25 km)
Stop At: Oficina Municipal de Turismo de Palas de Rei, Avenida Compostela 28, 27200 Palas de Rei Spain
The stage begins through a forest, and on the way you will pass through a multitude of typical villages of rural Galicia.
In this section, it is worth noting to see the church of Santa María de Castromaior, Romanesque style.
The journey that begins in Portomarín, ends in the village of Palas de Rei.

Day 4: Palas de Rei – Arzúa (29 km)
Stop At: Iglesia de Santiago de Arzua, Rua do Carme, 6, 15810, Arzua Spain
This is the longest stage of the entire itinerary.
Due to this, many pilgrims choose the option to stay in Melide, which is halfway.
As for the places of interest, the medieval town of Ribadiso stands out, before arriving at Arzúa, which is one of the favorites of the pilgrims.
The section concludes in Arzúa, known for its cheeses.

Day 5: Arzúa – Pedrouzo (20 km)

In this section the Camino will take you through forests of eucalyptus, villages and streams.
It is recommended to visit the Chapel of Santa Irene at this stage.
The stage ends in Pedrouzo, where sometimes there may be accommodation problems.
This is not a problem, because we have many accommodation options in the area.

Day 6: Pedrouzo – Santiago de Compostela (20 km)

Finally, the last stage of the Camino.
From Monte do Gozo you can enjoy the best views of the city and the cathedral, the final destination.
Many pilgrims stop and rest there minutes before embarking on the descent, recalling the best moments and experiences of this adventure that comes to an end.
Once in Santiago, do not forget to go to the Pilgrim’s Office to ask for the Compostela, as well as to stroll through the old area, to lie down in the Plaza del Obradoiro, and observe the majestic Cathedral.
For those who still have energy, we recommend following the route to Muxía.
