A few kilometers before reaching the end of the stage, you will see the Belesar reservoir in the distance, an indicator that you are already reaching the end of the stage, Portomarín.

Portomarín is a place as beautiful as it is peculiar. This town had to be relocated from its original enclave to a higher point in the valley, due to the construction of the Belesar reservoir on the Miño river, which caused the flooding of the old town’s enclave. Already in Palas de Rei, where you will have all the services, you will only have to worry about resting and discovering the wonders of the town. Place of castrex roots, Palas de Rei has various archaeological remains such as mámoas, dolmens or castros, which are witnesses of this culture.

As you descend towards the city, the blisters and fatigue will disappear until they disappear completely in the most magical moment of the entire Camino: the entrance to the Plaza del Obradoiro.
