e-MTB – Grazalema Park to Ronda – 43km – Intermediate or Challanging Level

Ronda Trip Overview

This route explores the heart of the Grazalema Natural Park and then heads all the way back to Ronda, including some sections of singletrack and lots of hill climbs and descents. The Natural Park is a great area for cross-country biking, with dramatic, unspoilt and remote plains surrounded by towering mountain peaks.

The first half of the ride explores the heart of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, a protected region of rocky mountain crags, karst valleys and cork oak forest. A climb up into the first section of cork oak forest offers a good chance of spotting some free-ranging Iberian pigs, then its back down into the valley. Then we head off up into more cork oak forests on some single track and on to the Hundidero valley.

We ride through the village of Montejaque where we normally take a quick refreshment stop. We continue on a fun descent through farmland into the valley of La Indiana before using trails which head up through pine-forested hills to climb back to Ronda.
