Our visit will take you through the heart of the city, from its Phoenician origin to its Renaissance walls, entering some unique spaces.
This tour will allow you to discover the millenary history of Melilla, a city with an incredible past and a rich and interesting heritage.

The tour takes the visitor through one of the most beautiful, ancient and best preserved Renaissance fortifications in the Mediterranean.

You will know its rich history, from the Paleolithic, Phoenicians, Punics, Carthaginians, Vandals, Byzantines, Arabs, Andalusians to the present day.
You will visit three of its unique enclosures, 18th century Hornabeque moat, Plaza de Armas (End of the 15th century), Galapagos cove (SVII AC), Puerta de Santiago (16th century), Santa Ana tunnel, Plaza de los Aljibes and Plaza de Pedro de Estopiñan.

Stop At: Puerta de la Marina, Avenida General Macias, 52001 Melilla Spain

The Puerta de la Marina is the access door to the First Fortified Enclosure of Melilla la Vieja, by the Sea Front. It was the main entrance for those who came from the Iberian Peninsula from the old port of Melilla.

Stop At: Puerta de Santiago, Plaza de Armas, Melilla Spain

The access door to the First Fortified Enclosure from the Second Fortified Enclosure to the citadel. It is accessed from a masonry bridge and another drawbridge.

Stop At: Foso del Hornabeque, Melilla Spain

El Foso del Hornabeque is one of the most outstanding places in the citadel of Melilla la Vieja. It is part of the Historic Artistic complex of the City.
