What makes Tarifa and Bolonia , Full-Day Food and History Tour from Marbella a unique experience ?
You will begin your tour by exploring Tarifas moorish streets and learn about its rich history through the centuries. On the tour we will visit many places of interest throughout the town.
Following the tour you will start your chosen activity.
If you have chosen this option you will have an hour to visit this imposing castle which is steeped in history. It was built by the Moors and expanded by the Christians. You can explore the castle and museum along with its many historical details and artefacts.
Enjoy some delicious local cuisine as we take a break for lunch
If you have chosen to enjoy the beach horse riding, you will be picked up after the walking tour and taken to the equestrian centre where you will be taken on an hour-long horse ride on the beach.
After, we will all meet up and make a stop, very much off the beaten track, at a fascinating Visigoth burial site.
Discovered under the sands, Baelo Claudia was a working Roman village from the 2nd century BC right up until the 6th century AD. It is one of the best-preserved Roman villages in Spain. The tour will allow you to explore and visualise what ancient Roman life in Spain was like.
Voted one of the most beautiful Spanish beaches in 2023, Bolonia Beach also boasts Europe´s largest sand dune. This beautiful beach and it’s sea views are the perfect backdrop for your evening meal.
