In Segovia, marvel at the Roman aqueduct, a majestic masterpiece, and visit the impressive Alcázar, a fairytale castle with spectacular views of the city. Stroll through its historic streets and taste its delicious cuisine, with a special mention of roasted suckling pig at traditional inns.

Just a few kilometers away, Pedraza will transport you back to the Middle Ages. This enchanting walled town captivates with its alleyways and its Plaza Mayor, surrounded by ancient manor houses.

We’ll meet at the O’Donnell Gate with all group members. From there, we’ll depart for Segovia.

We’ll take a tour of the Alcázar of Segovia, an impressive fortress and castle of medieval origin, situated on a hill in the city of Segovia. Its distinctive triangular shape and high towers give it a fairytale castle appearance. Originally built as an Arab fortification, its current structure is primarily Gothic in style, with Renaissance influences, and has served throughout history as a royal residence, prison, and military academy.

The Alcázar also offers a spectacular panoramic view of the city of Segovia, with the Roman aqueduct and the Gothic cathedral on the horizon. It is one of Spain’s most visited monuments and has inspired castles in stories and movies due to its majestic architecture.

We’ll tour the Segovia Cathedral and admire its incredible architecture, chapels, and altars.

We’ll learn in detail about the history of the world’s best-preserved Roman aqueduct. Afterwards, we’ll have lunch at a traditional Segovian restaurant and enjoy the finest local cuisine.

Departure from Segovia to Pedraza. Upon arrival, we’ll explore the picturesque medieval town of Pedraza, located in the province of Segovia, in Castilla y León. With its cobbled streets and perfectly preserved architecture, Pedraza is known for its historic charm and peaceful atmosphere. Highlights include the Pedraza Castle, which houses a museum dedicated to the painter Zuloaga, and the Plaza Mayor, surrounded by ancient stone manor houses.

Departure to Madrid. We’ll drop you off at the same location where we picked you up.
