Itinerary

Day 1: Bierzo Wine Region: the universe of Mencía grape

Stop At: Vinedos & Bodega Encima Wines, Carretera Lombillo, 24413 Molinaseca Spain
A winery with a long family tradition, sincere wines, with a clear commitment to organic vineyards and various production lines and differentiated projects. The visit would be exclusive and would include a visit to the winery and educational vineyard walk.

Stop At: Val de San Lorenzo, Val de San Lorenzo, Province of Leon, Castile and Leon
A family winery that produces traditional wines with organic vineyards, located in the San Lorenzo Valley, in the foothills of the Aquilian mountains. Tasting of the two wines they make (and perhaps a surprise) accompanied by a sweet petisco made with products from DO Bierzo: Conference Pear, Reineta Apple and Chestnuts.

Located in Arganza, a town with a great winemaking tradition, immersed in an extraordinary and picturesque natural setting in the “Berciana Region”. It belongs to the Terras Gauda group, its wines are of unquestionable quality.

Day 2: Valdeorras: cradle of Godello wines

Stop At: Bodegas Godeval, Xagoaza, s/n, 32317, Ourense, Spain
If there is a winery responsible for the Godello being the queen grape in Valdeorras, it is undoubtedly Godeval. A beautiful project that only produces wines of this variety. Visit to the vineyard, current winery and wine cellar with tasting.

Stop At: A Rua, A Rua, Province of Ourense, Galicia
visit to the Pedrazais vineyard and the winery to discover its history and its commitment to the recovery of traditional varietals. Then lunch in the beautiful dining room with views. Menu consists of starters: cold cuts, local artisan cheeses and assorted toasts. Main dish of kid roasted in the wood oven, dessert and coffee (possibility of modifying the menu) paired with 3 wines from the winery.

A modern winery coexists here with a thousand-year-old wine cellar as well as the family tradition with the latest advances. Lagar de Cigur wines do not stop reaping awards year after year thanks to their exceptional quality.

Day 3: Ribeira Sacra: heroical viticulture & dramatic landscape

Stop At: Castro Caldelas, Castro Caldelas, Province of Ourense, Galicia
A small medieval village where we will climb its castle. From here we will go to the Matacás viewpoint located on the edge of the canyon, we will enjoy one of the most impressive views of the Amandi vineyards.

Stop At: Algueira winery, Lugar Doade s/n, 27460 Sober Spain
one of the iconic Ribeira Sacra wineries thanks to its way of understanding the soils and the vineyard. Guided visit to the winery, with a tasting of 3 wines (white, red and crianza).

Stop At: Amandi, Amandi, Villaviciosa Municipality, Asturias
A winery with a long history linked to the viticulture of Amandi and wines that have crossed borders and every year, they collect awards and mentions in the best competitions and wine guides.
