Granada Trip Overview
With an official guide (bilingual Spanish / English) we will visit Granada, a privileged city to explore on foot. In every corner, we can find traces of a splendid historical past.
We will start in Plaza Nueva, admiring one of the constructions that most changed the physiognomy of the city and astonishing us with the Royal Chancery, the highest court of Appeal of the Crown of Castile. We will go down the river Darro, to look at the old Al-Funduq (Corral del Carbón), one of the few Muslim buildings of commercial use that are still preserved. Then, we will visit the Madrasa, founded by Yusuf I in 1349, the germ of the university that preserves so much tradition even today in Granada. We will enter the Royal Chapel, where the Catholic Monarchs chose to be buried to leave a permanent memory of the hard work that it cost them to win this city. We will also see the Cathedral.
