The Palace is a Renaissance building in Granada, the southern part of Spain. It is located on the top of the hill of the Assabica, inside the Nasrid fortification of the Alhambra. This building has never been a home to a monarch and it stood roofless up to 1957. The Generalife (Architect’s Garden) was the Nasrid Emirs’ summer home and is one of the oldest remaining Moorish gardens. Observe the Sultana’s Garden (Jardim de la Sultana)(The Cypress Courtyard) and Patio de la Acequia (Acequia Patio) (Water Channel Court) features a long pool surrounded by flowerbeds, fountains, colonnades, and pavilions.
