This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Caroline lives with her family in a newly renovated, beautiful home with lots of natural light and well distributed spaces. Caroline believes in supporting local producers and small businesses, and will welcome you with olives and pickles, from nearby artisanal producers. She would like to serve a mix of French and Spanish cuisine, and introduce you to both cultures close to her heart. Learn to cook 3 dishes from scratch in your 2.5 hours hands-on cooking class. You will first start with dessert. Caroline will share the history of the dish and share stories of how she learned to cook, while you learn to create a tatin tart (a French apple tart) or a chocolate mousse. Then help Caroline prepare the main dish and salad, before you sit down to share the dishes you helped prepare.

Sample Menu

• Gazpacho (cold tomato soup) or Escalivada (smoky grilled vegetables)
• Seasonal salad
• Quiche or Fideuà – Quiche (French tart with bacon and cheese) or Fideuà (Catalan specialty which is similar to paella)
• Crème brulée or Chocolate mousse or Cake
