We drive up the mountain at the heart of Menorca where we visit the convent and church of the Virgin of the Toro whilst we enjoy the breath-taking views over the island.

Stop At: Cap de Cavalleria, Faro de Cavalleria, 07748, Menorca Spain
Past the lovely beach of Cavallería and through the remains of the Roman port settlement of Sa Nitja, we drive along a remarkable headland that reaches out as far as the lighthouse which is perched on the island’s most spectacular cliffs where we stop off to enjoy the best views of the island’s northern coastline.

Stop At: Fornells, Fornells, Menorca, Balearic Islands
During our visit of Fornells, a charming fishing village which takes pride in its gastronomic reputation and its beautiful sea promenade teeming with inviting restaurants, we enjoy the views on its large bay whilst we explore the remains of Sant Antoni’s Castle and stroll through the tranquil little streets dotted with characteristic small shops and businesses.

Because of its natural characteristics and its strategic position, the port of Mahon, one of the longest natural harbours of the world, has been a coveted prey of all maritime powers who contested control of the Mediterranean and who, on different occasions, have dominated Minorca because of the military and commercial value of this port. Apart from its scenic beauty, the port offers numerous sites of historical interest such as the King’s Island, the Lazaret Island and the Fortress of Isabel II.

In Binibeca Vell, a delightful whitewashed enclave which represents the essence of a typical Mediterranean coastal village, we lose ourselves in the fabulous maze of narrow winding alleys which look like taken from a fairy-tale.
