The Hospital de la Santa Cruz y San Pablo, designed by the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, one of the main representatives of Catalan modernism.
It was built between 1902 and 1930 in two phases: the first by Domènech himself, between 1902 and 1913, it consists of thirteen modernist buildings; the second, built by his son Pere Domènech i Roura from 1920 on, consists of six other buildings of moderate modernism and other later buildings. With its main building and its many pavilions, the Hospital de San Pablo is, together with the Pere Mata de Reus Institute (also by the same architect), one of the largest groups of Catalan modernist architecture.
Although it was not possible to build the entire original project, its notoriety was recognized with various awards and the appointment as a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1997.

Park Güell is a public park with gardens and architectural elements located in the upper part of the city of Barcelona.
Conceived as an urbanization, the park was designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí, the greatest exponent of Catalan modernism, commissioned by the businessman Eusebi Güell.
Built between 1900 and 1914, it was inaugurated as a public park in 1926.
Park Güell is a reflection of Gaudí’s artistic fullness: it belongs to his naturalistic period (first decade of the 20th century), a period in which the architect perfected his personal style, through inspiration in the organic forms of nature.
In Park Güell Gaudí displayed all his architectural genius and put into practice many of his innovative structural solutions that would be emblematic of his organicist style and culminate in the Sagrada Familia.

Casa Vicens is a modernist building located in Barcelona, on Carrer de las Carolinas 18-24 (Gracia district).
The work of Antoni Gaudí, it was the architect’s first major project after his degree as an architect in 1878.
It was built between 1883 and 1888. At the time the building was constructed, Gracia was still an independent urban nucleus from Barcelona and possessed of its own Town Hall, with the category of villa, although it is currently a district of the city.
This work belongs to Gaudí’s orientalist period (1883-1888), a period in which the architect produced a series of works of marked oriental taste, inspired by the art of the Near and Far East (India, Persia, Japan), as well as Hispanic Islamic art, mainly Mudejar and Nasrid.
The building was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest on July 24, 1969, and a World Heritage Site in 2005.

The Royal Monastery of Santa María de Pedralbes is a set of Gothic-style monuments located in the city of Barcelona.

Barcelona Sants or simply Sants is the main railway station in the city of Barcelona. It was inaugurated in 1979 after lengthy works that were agreed at the end of the 1960s. It is the second station in Spain, after Madrid-Atocha.
Its Long and Medium Distance routes, using both the classic network and the high-speed network, connect Barcelona with national and international destinations.
It concentrates the largest commuter traffic in the city as the R1, R2, R3 and R4 lines of the Barcelona Cercanías network converge there.
The bus station located outside the station also receives the same name, which mainly operates routes to the rest of Spain.

Woman and Bird, was the last work of great proportions by the versatile Joan Miró.
The work was inaugurated in 1983 without the presence of its author due to the serious health problems he suffered, dying months after the inauguration at the age of 90.
Woman and Bird was one of the first expressions of public art in Barcelona during the democratic era.
Located in the Joan Miró park (old Escorxador) in Barcelona, at the foot of a large artificial lake, the sculpture was made of concrete and is 22 meters high, it represents a female form with a hat and on it the image of a bird . The representation of women is solved with a hollow shape covered in black ceramic that takes the shape of a vagina characteristic of the Miró language.
Its exterior is covered with red, yellow, green and blue ceramic (the most common of the artist) treated as trencadís and made by the ceramicist Joan Gardy Artigas.

The Plaza de España in Barcelona is one of the most emblematic spaces in the Catalan capital.
It was built during the 1929 International Exhibition, according to a project drawn up by Josep Puig i Cadafalch and Guillem Busquets and completed by Antoni Darder.
It is an important transit center of the city through which the Montjuic area is accessed, and where the Trade Fair and the National Museum of Art of Catalonia are located. Other important buildings in the square are the Las Arenas Shopping Center (an old bullring, a neo-Mudejar style work), as well as the so-called Venetian Towers, the work of Ramon Reventós, built for the 1929 Exposition.

The access towers to the 1929 Exposition site, better known as Venetian towers, are two twin towers, of an ornamental nature, located at the intersection of Avenida de la Reina María Cristina with Plaza de España in Barcelona.
Its popular name is due to its similarity to San Marco’s campanile in Venice.
Work by Ramon Reventós, they were built as access to the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition site; currently, they do the same with the Fira Barcelona Montjuïc venue.

The Magic Fountain of Montjuic, It was built on the occasion of the 1929 International Exhibition by Carles Buïgas in the place where the Four Columns by Josep Puig i Cadafalch were located.

El Pueblo Español is an open-air architectural museum located on the Montjuic mountain in the city of Barcelona, a few meters from the Magic Fountains of Montjuic.
The site is made up of 117 full-scale buildings, which make up a typically Spanish town with its streets, houses, squares, theater, school, restaurants and artisan workshops.
It was built in 1929 for the International Exhibition that was held that year in the city.
Although initially the venue had a scheduled life of six months (the same as the exhibition lasted), the success of the public allowed it to be preserved and to continue to this day.

The Olympic Stadium is a sports venue located on the Montjuic mountain.
The original stadium was inaugurated on May 20, 1929 by King Alfonso XIII, a day after the opening of the International Exhibition.
On the occasion of the 1992 Olympic Games, the stadium was rebuilt practically in its entirety (1985-1989), being reopened 60 years later as the “Olympic Stadium”, on September 8, 1989, by King Juan Carlos I.
Designed by the Barcelona architect Pere Domènech i Roura, son of the modernist architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, it was projected to host future Olympic Games, which after four bid attempts, would arrive in Barcelona 63 years later.

WTCB is a building with a very original structure, inspired by the shape of a ship, the work of the renowned architect Henry N. Cobb that highlights its aesthetics as it is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea.
The arrangement of the four buildings in the shape of a circle creates a spectacular central square of 2,500 m².
These four towers house the rental offices, the congress center and the five-star GL Hotel Grand Marina with 291 rooms.

The Columbus Monument is a sculptural group located in the Portal de la Paz square in Barcelona.
Built in homage to the discoverer Christopher Columbus, it is erected at the junction between the Ramblas and the Paseo de Colón, in front of the old port of Barcelona.
The monument was built in the context of the works to improve the Barcelona coastline carried out on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of Barcelona in 1888. Inaugurated on June 1, 1888, in full exhibition, it immediately became one of the most characteristic icons from the city.
Inside the column there is an elevator that allows you to go up to the hemisphere located under the feet of the statue, from where you can see the city.

The Old Port (in Catalan, Port Vell) is the oldest part of the Port of Barcelona, in the city of Barcelona, Spain. It is where the artificial port of Barcelona was born, with more than two thousand years of tradition. It is separated from the sea by a breakwater, until recently one of the favorite popular leisure spots in the city.
Currently the facilities of the Old Port are used for sports boats such as the dock of the depot and the dock of La Barceloneta. Also in the central part you can find an area dedicated to commercial use, known as the Maremagnum. There is a part of the port also reserved for cruise ships.

The Ciudadela Park is located in the Ciutat Vella district. For many years it was the only public park in Barcelona. It was drawn on the old grounds of the fortress of the Citadel, hence its name, in the image and likeness of the Luxembourg garden in Paris.
It was designed by José Fontseré and inaugurated in 1881. A few years later, in 1888, it hosted the Universal Exhibition of Barcelona.
It is located in the Ribera neighborhood, in the triangle between the Francia station, the Arc de Triomphe and the Olympic Village.
In the park is the old Citadel Arsenal, current headquarters of the Parliament of Catalonia.
It also houses the Barcelona Zoo.
On its land there is an extensive collection of public art that makes it an open-air sculpture museum.

The Arc de Triomphe is a Monument located at the confluence between Paseo de Lluís Companys, Paseo de San Juan and Ronda de San Pedro, in the city of Barcelona.
It was designed by the architect José Vilaseca as the main entrance to the Universal Exhibition of Barcelona in 1888.
Unlike other triumphal arches with a marked military character, the Arc de Triomphe in Barcelona has a greater civil component, characterized by artistic, scientific and economic progress.
The Arc de Triomphe has been used as a goal on occasion for some of the most important races in Barcelona, such as the Jean Bouin or the Barcelona Marathon.
The monument was restored in 1989.

Palacio de la Música Catalana is a music auditorium located on Sant Pere més Alt street in the Ribera neighborhood of Barcelona. The construction was carried out between 1905 and 1908, with very advanced structural solutions with the application of large glass walls and the integration of all the arts, sculpture, mosaics, stained glass and wrought iron.
In 1997 Unesco included the building in its list of World Heritage Sites.

The Santa Iglesia Catedral Basilica Metropolitana de la Santa Cruz y Santa Eulalia, is the Gothic cathedral of Barcelona.
The current cathedral was built during the 13th to 15th centuries on the old Romanesque cathedral, built in turn on a church from the Visigothic period preceded by an early Christian basilica, the remains of which can be seen in the basement, in the Museum of History of the city.
The completion of the imposing facade in the same style, however, is much more modern (19th century). The building is an Asset of Cultural Interest and, since November 2, 1929, a National Historic-Artistic Monument.

Las Ramblas, is an emblematic Paseo de la Ciudad de Barcelona that runs between Plaza de Cataluña and the old port.
The promenade is packed with people during the day and until late at night. It is dotted with newsstands, flowers, street performers, cafes, restaurants and shops. Near the port, markets are used to set up, as well as painters and cartoonists.
Strolling along La Rambla you can see several buildings of interest, such as the Palacio de la Virreina, as well as the La Boquería market and the famous El Liceo Theater.
One of the side streets, a few meters long, leads to the Plaza Real, a square with palm trees and buildings with arcades that host a multitude of beer gardens and restaurants.
