Sangenis i Vaque is one of the few family wineries remaining in Priorat, a recently developed region. On top of that, they are still aging the wine in the bottle up to 2 decades before selling. Something rare fo a región where supply is so limited.
During the winery tour, we will learn how wine is made in Priorat by visiting the fermenting and aging room. Once the visit is over, we will embark on a jeep tour into the vineyards—a brilliant way to experience the power of the Priorat terroir. We will go to the Summit of the nearest hill, where you will be surprised by a tasting of fine wine and cheese—all from the región!
The winery Clos Figueras in the town of Gratallops is one of the first private wineries to be established in Priorat in the 1980s. They serve their wine together with their menu, which is included in the price and it has a big variety of meals. Fish, meat, and vegetarian, all coming from local providers. Even their vegetables are from their garden.
