Until moving on to explore Montserrat’s natural splendour, the journey starts on the upper Passeig de Gracia. Most famous peak in Catalonia. Montserrat is surrounded by a monastery of Benedictines and is the ideal half-day for spending a day in the countryside, a few kilometers from Barcelona.
On the way to the monastery, admire the Massif of Montserrat, a spectacular multi-peaked rocky range packed of unique needle-shape formations.
