Meet your guide in front of the main entrance steps of the Cathedral. You will recognize the guide by the blue shirt/jacket with the “Catedreal” logo. If for any reason you do not see your guide, do not worry. You can approach the staff at the main door and inform them that you are part of the official tour.
To participate in this tour, you must meet your guide before. This tour does not include an individual ticket, but a group ticket that will be validated by your guide.
**It is recommended to arrive 10 minutes before the tour start time for proper accreditation and guide control.
**As it is a TOUR, the confirmation voucher must be presented to the guide. Under no circumstances can an individual visit ticket be used without the guide.
**Late arrivals to the meeting point and/or once the tour has started inside the cathedral are considered NO SHOW (did not attend the tour) with no right to refund or individual access to the cathedral.
TEMPLE DRESS CODE:
As it is a Catholic church, visitors must dress appropriately. Regarding the dress code, Barcelona Cathedral states the following:
– Visitors may not enter the Cathedral with tank tops, trousers and skirts that do not -come down to at least mid-thigh. Should any of these items of clothing be worn, visitors must cover themselves at all times inside the temple.
– Visitors may not enter the Cathedral with see-through clothing, nor swimwear.
– For safety, no hats are allowed inside the nave or the museum except for religious, health or belief-related reasons.
The Cathedral reserves the right to admission in any case.
