Itinerary
The Ponoig Via ferrata has an approximate length of 230 meters and its difficulty is K4. It is quite vertical, so it is ideal to have traveled some other that has a lesser difficulty. The route of the Vía ferrata del Ponoig is divided into two well-differentiated sections, although both vertical. As soon as you start climbing you will realize how many staples you need to grab to get to the top. They are close together, so verticality is more impressive than difficult.
Once you have reached the top, you will find yourself in the Sleeping Lion. From the viewpoint you can enjoy magnificent views of all that is Costa Blanca, with Altea, La Nucía, Callosa and Benidorm in the background. Take the opportunity to breathe and take the best possible photos for a fantastic memory.
The descent is also quite fun: you will travel a path through the mountain until you reach an area of rappel ropes. And the only way to get off the Ponoig is through them. The abseil descents are 25 and 35 meters.
